Sound View offers FREE TV video production training for individuals that reside, work, or attend school full-time in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Milford, Orange, Stratford, and Woodbridge.

Prerequisite: All TV production courses require computer skills. 

TV Production Course Descriptions: 

Studio Production is an introductory course that will provide basic studio production knowledge. Upon completion the student will be able to operate a three remote camera studio production. The student must produce for cablecast four (4) programs before advancing to the Digital Editing Course. There is no cost for the training course. 

Digital Editing provides students with a basic understanding of video camera operation and the digital editing process. Completion of the Studio Production course, including the production of four (4) programs for cablecast, is required before enrolling in Digital Editing. There is no cost for the training course. 


Major Studio Production provides students with a basic operation of our multi-camera studio and control room, (including audio, teleprompter, lighting, crew roles, roll-in, scripting). A minimum crew of 9 is required for this course. There is no cost for the training course.
